课题: Unit  8  A camping trip  ( the first period)

教学内容:A  Read and say

教学目标:1. 四会掌握单词:children, fish , show-showing

2. 三会掌握单词:a tin of chicken, a tin of fish, a box of chocolates, hill, site

3. 拓展单词:torch, lightermobile phone

4. 掌握句型:They are / He’s / She’s showing … to… A: What is a …used for?  B: A … is for…

          What do you / they have?   /  A: What does he / she have?

            B: I / we / They have…     B: He / She has…

5.  学生初步理解课文内容并尝试复述课文。

能力目标:学生掌握本课句型,能够灵活运用,并能对课文进行总结。

情感目标:培养学生合作意识,以及说英语的兴趣,教育学生要热爱大自然,保护大自然。

教学重、难点:

学生能够熟练运用三单形式句型及对课文的总结。

教学准备:多媒体课件,事先给学生准备一些野营用具的实物卡片,录音机,一顶帐篷。

教学过程:

Step1. Warming up and free talk: T: Good afternoon, children.  Children means boys and girls.

        新授单词children        A boy or a girl means child.

T: What do you like? (1)I like chatting on QQand today if you are good, we can be good friends, and you can get my QQ number.

(2)I like camping very much. 并出示4camping的精彩画面,

a. The man is fishing.    b. The students are cooking.    c. The children are flying the kites.

d. 在人们爬山的图片中学习新单词hill

T: When camping, we can climb the hill, go fishing, cook nice food, fly a kite and so on, so what do you think of the camping? Is it nice?

T: So we can say “Camping is fun.” And I suggest we go camping this Saturday. OK?

Step2. Revision

Talk about the camping trip: T: Then please tell me, what do we need for the camping trip?

S: We need…学生在说出需要的物品时复习B部分出现的单词:telescope, tin-opener, pot, stove, blanket, towel.在此基础上拓展单词torchlighter

Step3. Presentation & Practice

1.       新授句子: A: What is a … used for?    B: A … is for…

T: We need so many things, and what are they used for? Please tell me.

(1)    A telescope is for watching far.      (2)    A tin-opener is for opening tins.

(3)    A pot and a stove are for cooking.    (4)    A blanket is for keeping warm(保暖).

(5)    A towel is for cleaning.

2.       新授句子:They are / He’s / She’s showing the…

T: We know the use of these things. And now please tell me,

  what do you have for the camping trip?

T: Really? Show me, please.

Step5. Extension

T: Liu Tao and his friends are camping happily. And I think it’s time for us to talk about our camping plan this Saturday. Where do you want to go camping?

   Here I have some places for you to choose.

T introduces

T invite the student to go camping.

Step6. Learning a song: What do you have?

T: You know on the way to the camping site, it’s always very boring. So what can we do? What about singing a song.

1.       听朗读歌词,填入所缺部分。

2.       Learn to sing the song.

Step7. Homework.

1.       Read the text for 3 times.

2.  Tell me something about the camping plan this Saturday. For example: who will go with you and what they have. (告诉我你们本周六的野营计划,比如谁将和你一起去,他们分别准备了什么东西。注意教育学生在热爱大自然的同时要保护大自然,野营时不破坏生态环境,还要注意环境卫生。)
