2. What’s the date today? Is it the first of September? No. It is the second day of September.
3. Learn to say: second, Sep. 2nd, It is the second day of the new term. All the students are back to school again.
4. Read and say the first passage of Part A.
Step 2 Read and say ( A)
1.( Show the picture of Part A)It is the first day of the new term. Yang Ling, Helen, Mike and their friends are back at school. They are happy to see each other again. Look, there is a new building in their school. They are talking about the new building.
2.Look and listen. What are they talking? Let’s Look at the picture and listen to them twice.
3.Look and say. Look at the picture and answer the teacher’s questions.
A, What’s in their school? Is it new?
B, What’s in the new building?
C, How many classrooms are there in the building?
D, Are there any reading rooms in the building?
4. Learn to say: a new building, a lot of (lots of) rooms, how many classrooms, any, a reading room

2. Look at the picture. What rooms are there in the building?
3. Look, read and learn: a reading room, a table tennis room, a computer room, a music room, an art room, a clinic.
4. Look and say: Is there a music room in the building? How many music rooms are there?

5. Listen and read.
6. Read and say.
Step 4 Consolidation
1. Read and say the dialogue.
2. Read and try to act the dialogue out.
